The Role
Karnot keeps its own ledger. This role gives the Treasurer a qualified second pair of eyes on it, one day a week: review the month, close it, prepare every BIR return for filing, and keep the books ready for the annual audit. It is a steady, well-defined job for a licensed accountant who wants part-time work near home and can commit to the same day most weeks.
What You Will Do
- Review the month's ledger entries against bank and cash records and post the month-end adjustments
- Prepare the corporate BIR returns for the President to file — monthly withholding on compensation and expanded withholding, quarterly VAT with the sales and purchase lists, quarterly and annual corporate income tax, the January alphalists and the annual registration
- Check payroll computations and the SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG remittances
- Keep the BIR-registered books of account up to date
- Prepare the year-end pack for the external auditors and answer their questions
- Advise the Treasurer and the President on tax questions as they arise
What We Need
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (PRC), in good standing
- At least three years keeping the books and filing BIR returns for a VAT-registered corporation, including eBIRForms or eFPS
- Comfortable working from a cloud system and bank exports; clear written English
- Based in Pangasinan, or able to attend Mapandan one day a week
What Karnot Offers
- ₱30,000 a month, fixed, for one working day a week, plus statutory contributions
- A flexible day, agreed in advance, with the rest of the work done remotely by arrangement
- A clean, well-organised ledger and a small team that values accuracy
- A role that can grow as the company grows
Common Questions
Is one day a week really enough?
Yes, for now. The company is small and the ledger is kept daily by the Treasurer; your day is for review, month-end and the returns. If the work grows, the role grows with it.
Who files the returns?
You prepare them; the President signs and files. You receive a copy of every confirmation.
