The Role

Karnot's iSAVE platform monitors every live installation in real time — energy consumption, system performance, temperature setpoints, and fault codes. The Operations Centre Analyst is the person who watches that dashboard, understands what it is telling them, and acts on it. When a heat pump in Cavite shows a high-pressure fault at 11pm, you are the one who triages whether it needs an urgent technician dispatch or a remote parameter adjustment. This requires real technical understanding — it is not a call-centre role.

Alongside real-time monitoring, you produce the monthly Measurement & Verification (M&V) performance reports that Karnot delivers to commercial clients under service contracts. These reports prove that the system is performing to its specified COP, the energy savings are real, and the demand shaving iSAVE promised is being delivered. The ability to read energy data, identify anomalies, and write a clear, credible report is core to this role.

You will also handle first-line customer service for technical queries from site managers and facilities teams. Karnot's clients are commercial businesses — communication needs to be professional, clear, and technically credible. This is a Monday-to-Saturday role with shift coverage arrangements as the installed base grows.

What Karnot Offers

About This Role — Common Questions

What is the iSAVE platform?

iSAVE is Karnot's smart energy monitoring and demand management platform. It connects to sensors on each installed system and streams live data — power consumption, temperatures, pressures, COP, and fault codes — to a central dashboard. iSAVE also includes demand-shaving logic that shifts heat pump load away from peak tariff periods. The Operations Centre Analyst monitors the dashboard, responds to alerts, and uses the data to produce performance reports. The platform is built on standard web technologies and is straightforward to learn during onboarding.

What is Measurement and Verification (M&V)?

M&V is the process of quantifying the energy and cost savings delivered by an installed system against a documented baseline. Karnot's commercial service contracts include monthly M&V reports that show: actual energy consumption vs. baseline, estimated cost savings, demand peak reduction, and system COP. The IPMVP (International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol) is the international standard framework Karnot follows. You will be trained on Karnot's M&V report template and methodology during onboarding — prior M&V experience is a bonus but not required.

Is this a shift-based role?

Initially, the Operations Centre runs standard weekday hours with Saturday coverage on a rota. As the installed base grows and 24/7 monitoring becomes necessary, shift rotas will be introduced. Shift patterns and premium pay will be discussed with candidates at offer stage based on the expected timeline. Karnot will not introduce shift requirements without adequate notice and fair compensation.

Do I need to visit sites, or is this entirely desk-based?

Primarily desk-based. The 5–10% travel estimate covers occasional visits to commissioning handovers or complex fault investigations where remote diagnosis is insufficient. You are not expected to perform physical maintenance work — that is the field technician team's role. Site visits for an Operations Centre Analyst are for observation and data collection, not hands-on servicing.
