One engineer, one day, your actual numbers — not a brochure estimate. You get a short written report whether or not you buy anything.
Hot water — rooms, kitchen, laundry
We measure your real draw, including the 7 a.m. shower peak that average-sized plants fail every morning. Sizing uses the ASHRAE hotel method: the peak, not the average.
Pool heating
Pools and pool showers are quiet fuel-burners. We check whether recovered heat and a properly sized heat pump can carry them.
Cooling & heat recovery
Your air conditioning throws away heat all day while a boiler makes it somewhere else. Where the design allows, one system does both jobs — and the machinery stops breathing salt air.
Solar, on your own roof
A hotel's load is a daytime load — the best match there is for panels feeding your own machines. No export, no paperwork. We check the roof while we're there.
Storage instead of spikes
An insulated tank is the cheapest battery there is. Stored heat carries the morning rush and the cleaning shift without electric backup burning money.
Measured, not promised
Our iSAVE meter reports the kilowatt-hours saved every month, machine by machine — audited numbers for your ESG report, not estimates.
Then you get two numbers
The price to buy a new natural-refrigerant plant outright — or a fixed monthly fee: Karnot installs a brand-new plant, keeps owning it, and parts, call-outs and monitoring are our cost. If the sea gets the machine, that is our problem.

The honest catch: if you have the capital spare and want to own and maintain your own plant, buying outright earns more over ten years — and we will quote you that number too, in the same report. The fee wins on cash, risk and simplicity. Both beat keeping a dying freon unit alive.
